Because they are simple to set up, relatively cheap & take out numerous dirt particles found in the water.
But the reverse osmosis water purifiers clean water more better as compared to the charcoal water filters. These cleaners use a fine film to clear the water by an osmotic process. They are more favorable cleaners than charcoal water filters.
